The Cracking Little Wine Company wave the Sunshine Guys off to a great start!

The Cracking Little Wine Company were in Catterick Garrison on Friday the 19th of August to show their support The Army Benevolent Fund...

Five amazing guys make up The Sunshine Challenge, who together are undertaking a monstrous task of 25 marathons, 26 miles of kayaking and 1,500 of cycling over a six-week period for the well-deserved charity, The Army Benevolent Fund.  

The team set off running from Catterick Garrison on the 19th of August and the CLWC were there to wave them off, wish them luck and show their support!

The picture above shows Carolyn, the CLWC's MD, with Andy North, one fifth of the team from The Sunshine Challenge standing in front of the guys' tour caravan, along with all the logos from sponsors.

Andy is aiming to raise £50,000 for the ABF and so far the CLWC have donated Hampers for a charity fundraising evening at the Thorpe Hotel in Leeds, which the CLWC and their sister company, E-Foods attended in July 2011.  

During this evening, the CLWC and E-Foods helped the team raise 6k towards their total goal.  Senior National Salesman at E-Foods, James Green donated a prize of his own; a bronze statue of a gunner loading a shell, that was auctioned off and the money was added to the end sum. James has served in the forces himself and so supporting the Army Benevolent Fund; a charity that relies solely on charitable donations and supports soldiers, former soldiers, and their families in times of war and peace, is close to his heart.
