Q Do I still need to be over 18 as I am buying online
A Age restriction
We won't sell wine to anyone who isn't 18 years old or over. Sorry, but that's the law. By placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
If you are buying a case of wine as a gift - the recipient must also be over 18 years old.
If our couriers are in any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, they will request some form of ID. If the person receiving the wine is unable to produce appropriate ID, unfortunately our couriers will be unable to leave the wine.
Q what is the minimum purchase
A you can order as little or as much as you want

Q my order is a gift can I include a gift card
A yes, just drop Carolyn an e-mail with your message
Q do you always have good stocks of all wine
A no, due to the nature of some vineyards ie, smaller production, we may be out of stock for a while. if you have orderd through the website we will issue an refund. although generally a note of out of stock wine is usually noted on website.
Q How many cases do need to buy to Qualify for the 5% corporate discount
A Corporate Orders -
A corporate order is an order where the corporate customer orders 10 or more cases on the same order.
Delivery -
Where an order(s) contain(s) goods to be delivered to more than one delivery address, it is the responsibility of the corporate customer placing the order(s) to ensure that all delivery address(es) provided to are correct. If goods are delivered to an incorrect address(es) as a result of incorrect information provided by the corporate customer, will not take responsibility for this and the corporate customer will be charged for the cost of replacement goods and the cost of delivering the replacement goods to the correct address(es).
Payment -
We accept payment from corporate customers by Switch, Visa, Mastercard, Amex, bank transfer and cheque. In the case of payment by bank transfer and cheque the order(s) will only be shipped when cleared funds have been received in The Cracking Little Wine Company Bank account
Q price policy
Description and price of the goods. We make every effort to ensure that prices and descriptions of goods shown on our website are accurate at the time you place your order. The price of the goods will be as shown on the checkout page of our website when you placed your order. We will charge you this amount. You must also pay a delivery charge for the goods as indicated on our website at the checkout page. We always try and ensure that the prices of goods shown on our website are accurate, but occasionally genuine errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods that you have ordered we will let you know as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If you cancel your order and you have already paid for the goods, then you will receive a full refund
Q how much is delivery

As follows:- £7.99 per case (up to 12 bottles )
£10.99 for orders of 2 cases per consignment (not per case)
free for orders of 3 cases
Please note: Deliveries to Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and some areas of Scotland may take longer and are subject to a surcharge, For deliveries outside the UK please e-mail Carolyn@crackinglittlewinecompany.co.uk for pricing and availability.
Q which times of the day do you deliver?
A. Our specialist wine couriers operate deliveries between 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday We are unable to specify a specific time as the drivers routes change daily.
Q -What happens if I am out when your carriers try to deliver my order?
A Our carriers will leave a card stating they were unable to deliver, along with your local depot's telephone number to call and arrange a convenient delivery day. Alternatively whenever possible please add 'SPECIAL DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS' at the Delivery Address stage of the Secure Checkout, for example - 'If out try neighbours at No 35' or 'Leave in garage with yellow door.' Our carriers can then deliver as per your instruction if you are out.
Faulty goods -
Q If a wine is found to be corked or faulty we will be happy to offer a replacement or credit.
A Notification must be given to us within 3 working days of delivery
Q what happens if the wine the wine is damaged
A Goods must be examined and breakages notified immediately, within two days of delivery at the latest.
Cancelling your order -
For your complete peace of mind, you may cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of goods. A refund excluding return postage & packaging will be given, provided that the goods remain in good condition and that the request to cancel is received in writing. Any cancelled order will be refunded within 30 days
